Hey gang,

I've been dabbling with a humorous side-project for the past few weeks, and now that it's reached a certain level of coherence, I thought it was time to share it with everyone on the playground.

It's a MySpace profile that I've set up under the self-proclaimed title of a pseudo-space-age messiah calling himself The Enlightened Ear. It's intended to poke fun at groups such as Scientology, as well as patriarchal traditions that treat women as second-class citizens.

Be sure to read the blog entries, as that's where the majority of the meat is. Enjoy!

Nice, reminds me a lot of Robert Rankin :)

I must admit, I'd never encountered any of Robert Rankin's work, and nor had I heard of the fellow until I read your comment. I did the usual "clicky-searchy" thing and read a few write-ups about him. Seems like he's written some very interesting stuff. I'll have to check my local bookery for some of his work. I think I'd enjoy it.

Don't know what you found on your "clicky-searchy" thingy, but this is the official website - www.sproutlore.com
I recommend The Greatest Show Off Earth. It was the first one I read, and is still probably my favourite.
