Betty Bethards wrote a series of books you find pertinent. I went through one of her courses. I know she has since passed away but she had a tremendous amount of knowledge on the subject and had a very down to earth way of saying it. Her organization is www.innerlight.org/ and I know at one point you could buy her books on Amazon. PM me if there is anything else I can help with!

hi tccb :)

as these topics are still controversial, not sure i would limit myself to a single book. for instance, although it is generally accepted that the human body has 7 chakras, various teachings give the number as 4 to 13... with major and minor chakras.

same for auras -- you will notice that colour interpretation varies somewhat. try some of these links and hopefully you can formulate your own platform... good luck :)
