Has anyone worked with them before or know about working with them on their anthologies? In my search for an appropriate pub to send my NF proposal, I checked them out, and found that while they're not a good fit for my WIP, they are looking for short submissions for their next set of "Funny-but-True" anthologies.

So I said to myself, "Eh? Why not? I've got a few of those." I e-mailed the editor for samples of the pieces from their forthcoming book to make sure that I was in the right framework. Got a reply back and the samples and I think I'm a fit. (Of course, it's up to them to ultimately decide that.)
But before I send it off (the deadline's Sept. 1), is there anything that I need to know? I checked Backgrounds and Bewares and didn't find anything particularly sketchy about them.
TIA for any help anyone can provide!
