I never really watched this show but I find myself sucked in by three full days of it. Anyone else sucked in by tv marathons? Which shows would you like to see run straight through from begining to end? How much time would you devote to them

I enjoy I have the manga what they released to the USA so far. I'm a bit Naruto'd out.

I'll watch X-Files every single time. If you are talking anime Cowboy Bebop. I also want to see Fruits Basket. I have the first 16 books in the manga. I know there are 17 and hope that is the last one. I just need the money to buy it up. And I'd watch a really old mini-series called V. I believe it came out in the late 80's early 90's.

Have been watching 'Naruto' also. Can't wait till Cartoon Network gets 'Shippuden'. Once sat through 20-odd hours straight of 'Heroes', did the same for 'Doctor Who'. And whenever they run through 'Star Trek' TOS and 'Honeymooners'.

Would love a 'Ghost in the Shell' marathon. 'Witch Hunter Robin'. A season marathon of 'Xena' wouldn't suck. 'Basilisk.' 'Samurai 7'. 'Noir'. 'Tokko'.

I'd kill for a huge run-through of 'Lupin 3rd'.

My question is, where is the Samurai X marathon?? Where's that at Cartoon Network??

I would watch a Heroes marathon. I often do my own marathons on youtube. and Ondemand. That's how I watched Six Feet Under, Oz, and Carnivale. Whatever happened with that show?

HBO cancelled 'Carnivale' just when it was almost seeming to start making sense, rather than carry on with Daniel Knauf's next two-season book and begin new storylines and characters. There have been rumors of a miniseries or movie to wrap up loose plotlines ala Deadwood but even that seems unlikely now.

A 'Samurai X' marathon (hell, start airing the whole show) would just about make my year. But I can't complain at the guys broadcasting 'Astro Boy' and 100 episode-marathons of 'Naruto', despite their letting new episodes of 'Space Ghost' go.

They did that with 'Prince of Tennis' and .hack//Roots (which ticked me off, I love that show), and what the heck happened to Mar? Okay, I disliked Mar, but still...

I am somewhat embarassed to admit that the last show I watched for 7+ hours was America's Next Top Model. I left it on TV as background noise. In my own defense, I only watch it on MTV reruns. :D

I don't like TV-aired marathons, because I feel like I'm stuck in a room for hours on end, and if I leave I'll miss something. It's one of the reasons I love buying favorite shows on DVD. I can direct my marathons and choose how many eps I watch in a row.

However, for shows that aren't on DVD yet, I'd like to see end-to-end marathons of: Special Unit 2, Medical Investigation, Swamp Thing, The Others (show, not movie), The Fugitive (Tim Daly's remake), The Nine (damn you, ABC!), Brimstone, and Now & Again.
