This probably goes in the Self-Promotion Thread, (if so, I humbly submit myself to moderator discipline
), but I haven't been here in awhile because I've been, well, "mad busy" with the whole "writing" thing, and wanted to give everyone a shout.
My first short story "The Way Station" has been selected for publication in a Christian-genre anthology called Coach's Midnight Diner, and was also selected as an Editor's Choice winner. I won some cash! Yippie! Moderators...can I post a link to a sample sized .pdf version of the anthology?
*** For Christian writers who are fans of horror, noir, science fiction, fantasy, crime fiction, X-files type stuff...the Diner re-opens for submissions in September 2008! Start mainlining the caffeine, and get writing!
My second short story - my first piece of flash fiction ever, some nice cop drama/action - was selected for Edit Red's City Smells Anthology.
I also write a weekly book column for our cities' biggest newspaper, The Press & Sun Bulletin - for money, again! wow!
Anyhoo, my redesigned website has all the rest of the good news. Once again, if this is in the wrong place, I'll move it pronto!

So, um, what do you do in your spare time?
