I've also found http://www.querytracker.net to be a site that shows tremendous promise toward the end of agent statistics like turnaround times, percentage of successful queries, etc... It's fairly new, but seems to be growing rapidly.

Thanks talps for the plug. Some statistics recently added are
response times for each agent for email and regular mail queries (separated out by positive and negative responses) and response times to full and partial reads.

Tools on QueryTracker allow users to keep track of the queries they send out, including dates sent and dates of replies. This is where the data comes from.
Already the site has over 1100 users.

here, but too far from the ocean
That is a gret link, rwam!

I do not write children's, but I have sent out a few requested fulls (non-fiction) and I am still waiting for any response after about 4 weeks. I realize 4 weeks is nothing with busy schedules and a huge full proposal to read, but the human side still wonders if the delay means almost certain rejections... but then, I looked on that board, and one of these agents signed a person after about 9 or 10 weeks from when the full was sent. That helps me remember that no news can still be good news... :) and for now, patience :)

Oh, and QueryTracker and the livejournal sites look great too. I hope they grow in data as people contribute (reminding self to contribute with response times when I have them).
