Indent or no indent?

I was sure I read somewhere that when you submit your manuscript, they wanted no indents so I changed the whole thing........

My friend that was supposed to help edit said it drove her nuts that it wasn't indented.........

Since I found AW I don't search the other sites - I have no idea where I found all the rules of font, size etc. Anyone have a link to that?

If its here somewhere - I'll feel stupid. It's been a long weekend - sorry for the stupid question. Anyone got asprin............
