If anyone remembers my post of a few days ago, while there has been a vast lack of interest in starting a local novel workshop series, a few people asked me to do an online version instead. I have just posted the first workshop's lecture and assignment. (Undoubtedly it is riddled with typos...)
Anyway, anyone is welcome to participate although you must register as a member of gamedev.net (free and relatively easy). The first series of workshops are intended for people starting a novel, not for those who have a complete or nearly complete manuscript. The philosophy of the workshop is analytical and will be partially focused on outlining, so seat-of-the-pantsers will probably not like it.
