Sent an agent the first 10 pages of novel....then the agent wanted the next 15. got a response the following day that said agent then wanted another 25 pages. Then got the response, liked it but could not make up mind...would i mind sending the complete manuscript."

In this case, is indecision a good thing? (I almost typed indigestion):)

I'd say the fact that they kept asking for more and then a full manuscript was a good thing. Maybe there's just a little something about the writing they're not sure about, but they like the story? I'd assume they found something interesting if they kept asking for more. It's kind of amusing that they kept asking for those page counts...

Middle of the road.
It's not a rejection, so it's a good thing.

I would think if an agent is wavering, than yes, the rest/ending is going to cinch it one way or the other. Here's hoping it goes the good way for you!

good luck!!

The only comment made was the agent felt the prologue could be a bit shorter.

Well, another agent rejected it from a partial. Said she didn' feel the writing would stand out enough in today's market. Now I'm really curious to see what the indecisive agent's comments will be.
