Teen years, most 9-10 year olds use the internet solely for like...nickelodeon.com is my cousin's only website. My sister's friends (8ish) only use the internet for Webkinz (Spelling?) but she's not allowed

Try fictionpress.net, but to be honest there's not much worth in publishing on those types of site. You won't get any decent criticism, just ego-stroking fan mail of the stupidest kind.

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

Lol, take it from someone who knows. If you can write two coherent English sentences on FF.net, they'll make you out be the greatest thing since Sliced Bread. And I love the work of Sliced Bread, especially his YA's.

My nephews have myspace. I can't believe it. Kids these days just keep getting older and more experienced than I was their age.

if you just want to be read, then fictionpress.net
if your story is actually based on established mythology, then fanfiction.net will take it.

My oldest nephew, he's 12, told me he was going to start being EMO. I wanted to shake him. . . and almost tempted to show him the darkside of being emo because I'll admit I am emo partially.

That's often the case; the signal-to-noise ratio can be pretty bad. Yet on the other hand, I've read some very intriguing stuff on ff.net, which made me wonder why the authors weren't trying to get published. Or maybe they were.

As for the age of the readership, well, I unless they actually state their age, I don't know of any way to tell with certainty. You can't use incoherence as a gauge, since almost everyone on the net seems to lack basic spelling, punctuation and grammatical skills (the present site excepted, of course!).
