Before I joined this board, I was convinced that there were just not that many novelists out there close to my age. Through contests, I've met lots of writers both younger and older than I, but it seems like in the college/post-grad years most people put their writing on hold. I have two CPs around my age, but we are always the youngest, by far, in any writing groups we participate in.
Yet...it seems like the 18-25 y/o's are out in force on AW! So, fess up. Who are the other young novelists around here? If you are, tell us a little about yourself and your WIP. Have you ever gotten criticism for being too young? How is your writing normally received by others your own age?
Also, I know of a few published under-25ers, but are there any successful novelists you were surprised to learn are so young?

Though, even now I feel like an old lady because I can be so boring sometimes. Sorry....just more serious about life than my friends. Oh well!
