Ok, no clue if this is the right place to post this type of question (what, me, ask for help? Nah!).

1. If an agent says in his/her guidelines to let them know that I'm querying elsewhere, is that good, or bad? Are they gonna think, well, some other dude will represent her, or, I better really look, 'cause someone else is going to steal her away?

2. From reading posts here, some people are saying they have different agents. I thought you had an agent you liked and that person took care of all your stuff (if you're lucky to have such an extensive range). Am I just naïve?

That's a good question right now.

It's neither good or bad. It's just a business courtesy. Nothing more, nothing less.

Different agents can have different specialties and different focuses.
