Thanks Dpat, I'd already imdb-ed her and wondered if I'd got the right person. She sounds fine and has some credits but nothing 'big', unless I'm missing something?

I just wondered why the OP was so excited about her...is she really really good-looking or something? Or Gene Kelly's daughter?

Actually, her interview is very interesting. The producers I know (including an extremely famous one) are actually a little hard up in cash terms and find that even with a much better track record than Gabrielle's that no-one's interested in how good the last project was, only in the current script, which means a level playing field for everyone including first-time screenwriters.

NB - if you are a first-timer, do not accept the label, because if your script wasn't as good as a fifth-timer's they would never be making it!!
