jobs in film distribution

hi all,

I know this is a screenwriting site but I still wanna ask you all.

In a year I’m going to be completing my MBA in marketing. I’m interested in marketing of movies. Are there any websites that list job openings for movies in like asst. to VP of distribution or should I send resumes to production companies that have listed that they have in-house distribution? Do I need agents?

if anyone is working in LA, lemme know how to land the jobs.

Most studios have jobs listed on their own sites. So you can go to paramount.com, warnerbros.com, etc... and check out their offerings.

Also: craigslist, mandy.com and entertainmentcareers.net

And for this kind of job, the UTA joblist may actually be useful. But you have to know some to get it sent to you usually.
