My main FC went missing last night- just for a little while (she's fine, by the way). I had no idea her horsey was going to abandon her. I love when they surprise you. :tongue

My two MCs ended up dangling off a cliff, luckily it was a real bonding experience for them, since one didn't trust the other prior to the incident. I knew they'd have to go through some type of trial to gain trust, but sheesh. I wish they wouldn't scare me like that.

I just wasn't sure what you were looking for. My MC's haven't been carried off by wild horses, although they did get carried away with some spilled paint.

My MC had a date (kind of) with this girl...then she just didn't show up. I still haven't figured out where she went, exactly. While it's nice to know that my characters are being independent, I wish they'd stick to the plan sometimes...

My MC is dreading seeing all of his belongings on the curb (the girlfriend has to have kicked him out by now), and dreading seeing the man who knows more than he does but is too crazy to share it who is visiting his recently widowed mom who's been drinking a bit too much lately, and is really, really missing Ernest Hemingway.
:)
I love it when he gets like that.

My MC is an Erma Bombeck clone living in Paris deciding whether or not to have an identity crisis

My MC didn't get to eat, because he had to give his cafeteria lunch to his gypsy brother. Sucks to be a YA.

My MC has just let herself be carried off by a particularly shady character who's already admitted he's only helping her so long as it serves his own interests. But hey, at least she's safe from the villain for a night, right? :)

My MC is pretending to be crying his dead brother-in-law in a lonely cathedral when he is in fact happy and celebrating the fact it was all staged by him to seize his power

Kinda, forget to mention that my MC is member of a southamerican military junta and was appointed by his brother-in-law as Minister of War and Navy. Now that brother-in-law is dead he accuses the Chancellor of have done it and (under the excuse of political inestability) assumes de facto power

My MC just got proposed to. Not your average YA Novel.

My MC came to me in a dream once and literally said to me: "You know what? That cute guy that is the token death? I kind of like him. Can't you marry me to him or something?"
Normally I don't listen to my dreams (hallucinogens are not your friend *twitch twitch*) but that was a new experience for me.
But, just to make her suffer, I killed her brother instead :tongue.

My secondary character decided he was sorry for getting everyone blown and shot up after all. And here I thought he was just completely nuts. He made me go back and change his dialogue for the past 50 pages. Meanie.

I would feel so bad if some day we all found out our characters were actually living in another universe somewhere. lol
We're so mean to them.

So, one of my characters was supposed to find a body and keel over dead from a heart attack; sort of a twofer deal.
I was shocked when the stubborn so-and-so grabbed onto the person who found the scene in the morning.
He wanted to solve the murder. Wonder is I'm gonna let the old fool do it. Maybe off him after that of course (never let your characters grow too uppity).
This stuff happens. I haven't a clue as to why; either they really are real people in an alter-verse, or we aren't aware of a lot of the stuff going on between our ears.

My MC just cut her mother's head off with her father's broadsword. I'm re-writing it though, to add more moral ambiguity. Because my MC is a very odd chosen one. She's chosen by the Highfather, who is basically the god of balance. When good is too common, he (and by extension, the MC) has to go and "fix" it. The same goes for evil, but people are more happy about that being fixed.
