SCREENWRITERS DOCUMENTARY

Hello --

I wanted to give everyone a heads up about something:

I'm a documentary director who's just finished what I believe is the first documentary to profile aspiring/emerging screenwriters. It's called DREAMS ON SPEC.

The film follows three aspiring screenwriters as they try to turn their scripts into movies -- and it features interviews with a number of great screenwriters like James L. Brooks, Nora Ephron, Gary Ross, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Ed Solomon, etc.

Daniel, you've got to delete the parenthesis around the link for it to work, as I've done above.

What makes you think anybody at AW would be interested in the subject? Only kidding of course. Great subject.

The DVD actually features 30 ADDITIONAL minutes of great interview soundbites from the likes of James L. Brooks, Nora Ephron, Gary Ross, etc. I think Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander are hilarious -- especially in these outtakes.
