Ok, there's a link at the top of the forum that says "click here to visit the chat room". That link takes you here: http://www.starchat.net/chat/?chan=absolutewrite

Just pick a username and leave everything else as is - then click "connect to starchat."

It might be worth checking it before the chat, just to make sure the link works for you. If it doesn't, you might want to check out mIRC or Chatzilla (if you use firefox). I'll be online here and in the chat if you have any technical questions.
