For those interested in the history and techniques of assassins, I just finished reading this book and HIGHLY recommend it:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/0806526203/?tag=absolutewritedm-20

(And it makes some really spooky references to terrorists using similar techniques, and "what if" the 1990's attack on the WTC had been successful...the book was published in 1997, so his references to terrorism and such are all pre-9/11. It's very interesting)

Anyway, I found it to be QUITE informative for my WIP involving an assassing, so wanted to pass it along.

It works well here. You can PM Cath (or another mod) if you'd like it moved elsewhere.

And thanks for the recommendation!

What does it say about me that I think this book would be absolutely fascinating? Thanks for the heads' up.

Wow, that guy has a lot of interesting books out. The Ancient Art of Strangulation?

I smell the sweet aroma of procrastination....
