Looks like the board is back to normal. At least the pop-ups are gone and so is the Community chest. Now we just need Uncle Jim's thread unlocked and we'll be all set.

Yeah, I finally finished the Uncle Jim Thread, and now can't post there to say how much I enjoyed it.

Of course I'm not going to be able to buy any more books this year, including Logical Chess, and I have at least ten books begging to be read, but as a chess player I got something out of the very suggestion of using chess tactics in a novel.

In fact the mere suggestion helped me to solve a logistics problem in my current novel and leave me thinking, "Now why didn't I think of that before?"
