What gives with this?

So what happened?

I wrote a long article, and it took. Then went to correct one little letter: I discovered "word" had been accidently written as "work."

Changed it and now the whole post says:

HTML Comments are not allowed

So what the hey is that all about?

I have to go to town and don't have time to do all that again.

ezboard does that automatically when a post contains something that reads like formatting instructions. Maybe your post contained an unfortunate sequence involving < and >.

When that sort of nonsense happens, hit the "back" button on your browser 'til you get to your original comment, still in the box.

It hasn't gone anywhere.
