There's only three bidders, bidding multiple times, and the first bidder (perhaps Mr. Barlow) is the high bidder.

Those fake bids have to be the lamest fraud ever. 'Bidder 3' is even bidding AGAINST HIMSELF .. raising the price when there have been no other counter bids.

You can't see the user IDs behind the fake bids, but simply enter 'Bidder 1, Bidder 2, Bidder 3' in the part where it asks you.

For what my opinion's worth, I think the occasional thread like this should be left.

This was obviously placed by a human, rather than machine, and I suspect if the human had seen a couple of other threads like this they'd think twice before trying to sock-puppet here.

It has to be one of the most miss-aimed sock puppet in history, though.
People here tend to be working on their OWN projects .. not BUYING other people's project. Why would anyone think that someone here would buy someone else's screenplay, site unseen?
