Good Fashion Periods for Drag Queens

It's a plot bunny - one that may never be written. But if a young man needed to convincingly dress as a woman, what would be a good fashion period? Say WWI and back about 200 years.

Victorian would work, but it seems like the obvious choice.

Damn, I was going to suggest the 1920s due to the preference for flat chested, thin, short-haired girls.

1920's flapper. Short hair and no breasts were the fashion.

Women would tape down their boobs. I believe there were even bras made so that when you wore them it would make your boobs look smaller.

Any period where corsets and heavy makeup were in, which would have been roughly the 1800s-1850s.

My vote is for late 1700s, especially French fashions of the period. Lots of fabric, especially around the hips, create some curves, even on a man’s body. The hats and hairpieces that most women wore would make it easy for a man to dress up pretty convincingly.

Why not go for the 80's or 90's? The 1980 and 90s.

What with the whole glam rock/punk rock/androgynous look then it was easy for guys to dress up with make up and women's clothes.
