What are the best free newsletters for writers? Please post links to your favorite resources.

Of course, there's the AbsoluteMarkets (http://www.AbsoluteMarkets.com) newsletter... :D

The Ralan's Market Report (http://www.ralan.com) e-mail is cool, too.

I also like receiving the Writing-World (http://www.writing-world.com/newsletter/index.shtml) newsletter.

I love Book2book (http://forums.booktrade.info/booktrade.php?), even though most of the stories are specific to the UK, so I often don't recognize the names of the publishers, celebs, etc. :)

I think I was receiving Publisher's Lunch for a little while, then unsubbed when I was going to be away for a little bit and haven't gotten it to come back. Sigh.

There's Writers Weekly (http://www.writersweekly.com/), Funds For Writers (http://www.fundsforwriters.com/) and Writer Gazette (http://www.writergazette.com/).

Great thread idea!

I like the Duotrope Digest's Weekly Wire; they also have a poetry one...

http://www.duotrope.com/newsletter.aspx

About the newsletter:
The Weekly Wire is a series of free, weekly e-mails that are sent to anyone who requests them. Each edition contains a list of markets that have been added or significantly updated here at Duotrope's Digest within the past 7 days. It also lists the themed publication deadlines that are coming up in the next several weeks. The e-newsletter is short, to the point, and ad-free. We do not sell or share e-mail addresses, and we do not engage in the heinous practice of spam. If you ever want to unsubscribe from the e-newsletter, you can do that painlessly here on this page. Instructions on how to unsubscribe are also provided in every e-newsletter sent.
