about the inhuman demands being made by studios upon f/x houses during the eleventh hour before a film's release. They call it the "War of the World's" effect because this new attitude of blithely short-changing f/x houses on realistic timeframes was triggered by the amazingly effiecient three-month f/x schedule of that recent Spielberg film.

what's more inhuman?

so what! they get paid.

what's really inhuman is the minimum wage which is still below poverty level

what's really inhuman is that a-list actors get paid $20 million bucks and a vital crew member might make as little as $100/day

what's really inhuman is that a-rod banks $33,000 every single time he's "at bat" whether he strikes out or hits a home run

what's really inhuman is those people who must scoop out the outdoor port-a- potties for a living

special f/x guys - they get paid! some of their interns work for free.
