Last month (April 17, to be exact) I sent out 50 pages in response to an agent's request. I haven't heard back from her yet. This is the first time I've dealt with a scenario like this. Should I drop a follow-up note/letter/e-mail? Muster up some more patience and wait a little longer? What's protocol in a situation like this one?

AND...if it isn't an exclusive read by said agent, send it out to more.

Umm . . . I've got three partials and a full out from February, plus another seven partials in the months since then. Avoid the urge to nudge just yet. As a friend of mind said, this business is glacial. Err on the side of caution and avoid being a pest at all costs. And good luck.

Send out more queries...resist the urge to nudge...and I agree. Publishing moves exceeding slowly but fine...oh so fine.

Thanks. I'll just have to repair the edge of my seat - it's getting a little bit threadbare.
