I know this is more of an aside than anything, but I felt like sharing. In the last 2 days I not only received a birthday card from the staff at Samhain Publishing, but I also received a personal email from my editor wishing me a happy birthday. I thought that was the sweetest thing.

On top of that, I went to my local Waldenbooks and lo and behold, I found an entire shelf of books by Samhain. My DH said, "It's your birthday, so go ahead and get whichever you want." So while I was doing that, he spoke with someone to try to get me a signing for when my book comes out in print. :D It was SUCH a good day. Just thought I would share.

BTW--I met the founder of Samhain at RT while waiting for the elevator. I asked her what the proper pronunciation of the company was: Sam-hain or Sow-wein (the Celtic pro.) She said it was whichever people prefer to call it, but SHE says it as Sam-hain now because it confused so many people.

In the "For what it's worth" department... :)

Thank you guys! I appreciate it.

Julie: Yeah, I got one of those too. LOL I figure I give them my money once a month, so they pretty much have to be nice to me. ;)
