Last June I submitted my story "Entering Blood City." I've noticed that you have been closed for submissions for some time and that you currently have a backlog. However, since it has been over seven months, I feel obligated to inquire of it's status. I understand this may take a little time.

I recieved back a polite reply that they were just sending out the next issue and still working on the backlog. The issue has been out since end of Feb.
At this point, it seems little unprofessional to keep me waiting so long, but I don't want to burn any bridges. Ideas?
