Someone mentioned the movie Keeping The Faith and now I have Jessie's Girl stuck in my head. I hate that freaking song! The top 3 songs that get stuck in my head and drive me nuts are:

3) The theme song from Love American Style
2) Love Shack
1) The theme song from Silver Spoons

20, 30 years ... it doesn't matter. Some demons never let you go.

Every time I hear the Love Boat song, I imagine it's being sung by Bill Murray as the lounge singer guy on Saturday Night Live. It helps.

Video Killed The Radio Star...usually just the chorus buzzing around over and over

But the worst was back when I waited tables. I dunno why or where it came from, but for three days straight I got weird looks from my customers as I walked by. Why? They overheard me singing "Kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da waaaabbit" under my breath. I couldn't shake that song for three days.

And yes...since then I've laid off the hooch. Kinda...

My most frequently earwormed song for about a year is "I Wanna Be Like You" from the original Jungle Book. The other one recently that I realized I was singing before I knew it is "Pico and Sepulvada." I don't remember who did it, but it was on the Dr. Demento Show. It's the La Brea Tarpits song.
