I'm sure you will all be with me in praying for the loved ones of all involved in what happened at Virginia Tech. May God be with them now and always as they begin to deal with this tragedy.

mmm . . . and how many of those threads are asking us to pray for the victims' families? any answers??
I too join in prayer for the families. This thread is about calling down God's grace and help on those who are stuggling with this horrible event, not to discuss what happened.

Exactly. I don't want to talk about what happened--I'm getting enough of that at work, on TV, at home. And everyone's obsessed with dissecting the gunman and his motivation, etc. But others were involved.
My alma mater held both a prayer service and a candlelight vigil (two separate events) this week. There's a wide band of orange butcher paper with Viginia Tech's logo on it and a marker provided for people to write their prayers, thoughts, or just sign their names in support.
Virginia Tech is going to be on my prayer list for quite some time.
