Today I received a rejected that is and isn't possibly mine. It reads as follows:
Dear Ms. Rosko,
Thank you for your submission to Dark Reveries. Although I read your story, "An Account of Johnny Luther" with interest, I regret to inform you that it was not the type of story we are looking for. While it was an interesting idea, I felt the ending was slightly abrupt and could have had greater shock value.
Best of luck in your future endeavors,
K. A. Quinn and Cassandra Rose

Very polite and a quick response time, but my story was titled, 'Dead Man's Trail' not, 'An Account of Johnny Luther.'
Should I send a polite e-mail asking if they meant me? They probably did reject my story but just in case ... Plus I feel a little weird adding a rejection to the collection that has the title of a story I never wrote.
Thanks
