Over the weekend, I was offered a contract by The Wild Rose Press for my novel Lost in Paradise:D !!

They're a small publisher, but the novel should go to print since it's over 55K words, so that's exciting. Every little bit of publicity and forward movement helps, right?

Today, TWRP contract. Tomorrow, a guest appearance on Oprah. Or something like that...;)

Many congrat's. Everyone might like to be with Random House, but Judith Appelbaum's HOW TO GET HAPPILY PUBLISHED discusses small publisher relationships in detail, and might provide you with a very good feeling about being with a smaller press, especially if this is your first novel to go to print. Again, fantastic, happy news.

Congratulations! I joined TWRP a couple of months ago. My book barely made the 55,000 word hurdle, so it should go to print, too. I'm waiting impatiently for the edits. And the cover design. And the release date. Yikes!
