Does anyone know of a website, where i can search a word, and it comes up with other words meaning the same thing, like if i searched

happy
and more ways of putting it came up like
joyfull
extatic

???

If you just type "thesaurus.com" into your browser, you'll be redirected to the website. I use it often.

Be aware that no online thesaurus is as complete as the better print thesauruses, at least not in my experience. They're equivalent to a paperback Roget's rather than the big hardbound.

Which means that 90% of the time, online may serve you just fine. It's great when your brain is groping for that word.

Actually, 90% of the time, the built-in thesaurus in Word works just fine for me. It doesn't give a lot of options, but usually just seeing 3 or 4 will help jog my brain to come up with a better word.
