Hi
I had an agent, a good one at a small agency, request that my full fiction manuscript be sent to her after a specific date a month from the date of her email response to my e-query. She said that they "schedule" their reading. I'd never heard this before.

It sounds wonderful if it means they'll read it faster than this 2-6 mos. I'm just wondering how common it is?

Thanks.

I know of one agent who asks writers to send material on a certain date (usually several weeks out from the request). I'm guessing she does this to keep on top of her workload. Makes sense to me. Might be the same agent.
