Hello everyone :)

It's question time for dear Thumpie :) If she lives in suspense any longer she'll go loca. On the other hand, it might be too late seeing as how she's already talking about herself in the third person :p

So, a month or more ago, I sent off applications for internships at several publishing houses (Random, HarperCollins, Scholastic...). The final due dates have come and gone. Scholastic has on the website that answers come towards the end of March so the lack of an answer from them doesn't worry me too much, they just haven't read my resume yet so they haven't fallen in love with me yet :D The others don't specify when I should assume that they don't want me.
So, my question to you who might know, when should I assume that I will not get an answer? End of March? End of April? That time's already come and gone?

Should I just give up hope now and plan to go on holidays with the family?

Thanks precious *gollum*

Hi Thump,
I have no idea what the policies at the big houses are, unfortunately. You could always call and ask. . .

Thanks anyway >.<

I had thought of calling them but I have no idea who I should call and I don't want to annoy anyone and ruin my chances. :D People are fickle.
I also thought maybe an email might be more appropriate? But they surely receive a lot of those :S

It's early days yet; I'd wait at least until mid April or early May, and you'll likely hear even if it's a no.
