Have any of you ever been asked to write a piece or change your work in a way that goes against your principles? Did you do it? I'm writing an article, and looking for a few quotes. Thank you all.

I once wrote an article on prayer and submitted it to a publication that responded by asking if I would consider coming at it from a slightly different angle--which is not uncommon for publications to do. I wouldn't say it was anything which went against my beliefs, but it would've affected the emphasis I wanted to make in the article, so I submitted the article to another publication, which then published it.

Thank you, Pat. May I use your quote and your name?

You're welcome, Wildscribe. :) Gee, if I'm going to be quoted, I think I better go back and make sure I'm saying something in a meaningful way. Let me edit, and then you can quote if you want to, provided you use the whole thing (or at least a complete sentence). :) Regarding using my name, let me PM you...
