From the age of 12, my only desire has been to be knowledgeable enough to be a successful writer. I began with poetry, included fiction later on, and then non-fiction. My first love is fiction whether it be flash (which is difficult for such a chatty writer), short, or lengthy. There is nothing like dipping into the creative reservoir and pulling out an entire world known only to me. Nothing ever changed in that.
Until the last few years, I was hesitant about actually calling myself a writer since I had no publishing credits of any kind, believing it was the difference between dreaming and actually being one. But then again, to think that way would be about the same as being hesitant about saying I'm alive. I can't not write. It's like breathing.
I am looking forward to the support and guidance of those who share the passion I have. I was in a writing group for over a year and I really miss being able to discuss what I do with someone who understands.
And, just so you know... This yellow thing on my forehead is a warning label. I engage in off-the-wall tangents, lame humor, and verbosity--given the right occasion. If you don't appreciate the browser x yet, you will...
