Mark your calendars, ladies and gentlemens.... in case you weren't already aware of it, this weekend we'll be having a complete lunar eclipse.

It's a good time for magickal activity, because you're basically getting all four phases of the moon in one handy two-hour package.

The lunar energy during eclipses can be very powerful and unstable. Just be careful.

My birthday falls on the day after the eclipse--on Mar. 4. I'm trying to put together a special ritual for this full moon, since it has so much magic going on.

Is there any ritual involving the moon that can bring some sleep to my life? Or make the school catch fire? After all, the walls are almost literally made of paper.

Where I live in the UK we had a full view of it, although it had been slightly cloudy before hand it cleared up. The whole area felt very charged although I didn't do any magic as the energy around the time of an eclipse can be very fickle and hard to control. However it was interesting watching the eclipse as it is the very first one I have seen with my own eyes (i've only ever seen them on tv or in books until now).
