Hi, I just came across this forum yesterday while researching a literary agent, and ended up sitting here for three hours excitedly perusing the site while the snow piled up outside (I'm in upstate New York).
I am a stay-at-home mom to three, ages 7 yrs, 5 yrs, and 16 months. I've completed two young adult novels that I'm currently seeking an agent for, and am in the process of writing three others as the mood strikes (in other words, whenever I have seven or more consecutive minutes to myself, lol).
Already I have picked up several great pointers from this forum, so I'll be returning as often as I can, probably with loads of questions.
Oh, and my screenname - generally if somebody calls while I'm trying to work, I end up saying something along the line of, "I really have no idea why I'm sitting here writing, I've got a sink full of dishes and three loads of laundry and dog hair tumbleweeds drifting through the foyer..." Yet, I continue to write. The house can wait
