Wow. For two months, I've snail mailed several publishers and agents who required it, and I've emailed a query to those who allowed that. NOTHING! Oh...not totally nothing--I've gotten two rejection emails. But the rest are silent.
I've gone through Preditors and Editors--not many publishers left to contact that will accept non-solicitations. Still some agents to try, but getting slim.
And it's NOT like this isn't a WELL WRITTEN and TIMELY subject. Yeah...that sounds like something ANY first time author would write.
But I'm VERY familiar with the subject and what is going on with patients who are clamoring to hear this--that's evident on a website.
Identify?? Tapping my fingers on my desk, sighing a lot, getting impatient.

But in reality, two months waiting to hear back from publishers is a VERY short time. Sometimes you get lucky, but six to nine months is more realistic.
