This is a song that was written on the basis of the rumor that the Stray Cats were going to get back together, (one of the first reunions, not the latest one) in the hopes that they might use it as their new signature song. (Needless to say, none of those reunions have ever lasted long enough to make such possible).
What I was trying for was a "fun" song that would make people smile and tap their feet.

To be honest, I've posted this primarily to show what can be done by INTENTIONALLY attempting to write a "commercial" song, with "universal" appeal, which is something I do, (to a greater or lesser extent), with all the songs I write, rather than basing a song on "Personal" experience and then trying to find the right arrangement to give it such appeal.
It's an exercise that might prove beneficial to any who try it.
