I am new here, and just wanted to say hi. I have written 2 books and am currently looking for an agent. My searches have repeatedly led me to this site and the opinions on some of the agents. So, thank you for helping to steer me in the right direction, or at least steering me away from the wrong direction. Also, while looking around on this site, I noticed a lot of motivational words from one member to another, and decided this is a group I would like to be a part of. When it comes to offering advice about writing or agents, I don't have a lot to offer although I will get there eventually. However, I do have a few motivational techniques that I would like to share at some later point.
So, for now, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to post questions and get honest replies.

Hi!

I'm a newbie here and I'm totally impressed that you've already written 2 books! What genre? What are they about? I'm still in the "scribbling 5 pages of a beginning then moving on to the next unconnected bit of writing" stage.
