I'd wait a little longer before enquiring. Put your patience cap on. Perhaps they like it and are passing it around for evaluation.

Time

Two weeks often means four weeks. It's always wise to expect replies to take twice as long as guidelines say they will. All sorts of things can slow an editor up.

And sometimes no news really is good news. Acceptances usually take longer than rejections.

I'm with everyone else on this - if you don't hear anything in 4 weeks, ping them to make sure they received it okay. Stuff gets lost in cyberspace sometimes. But it's more likely they are passing it around!

The Chick Lit Review? That's where I sent mine. It looks like a legitimate site, and Carole Matthews wrote a short story for them. They pay $50 for a story, but it's my first time sending anything in, so I'd happily take that!

Yup thats the one! I know they're just starting out. So the delay might be becuase they are still getting things together backstage.
