"For Women" magazine?

Hi everyone!

I've seen "For Women" magazine listed in various markets lists -- including the book version of Writers Market 2007. I also saw it in the online version, I'm sure, a few months ago. But now when I try looking it up online, I can't find it, only an entry that says "this magazine no longer exists." Is that true? Anyone have any additional details?

I don't know for sure but wouldn't doubt it. Writers Market has that kind of issue a lot.

They sure do. I understand that they don't vet the replies to the questionnaires they send out, but between receipt at Writers Market and publication of the latest edition, it's apparent more than a year can pass, because mail's not even being forwarded.

Frustrating, when it's 2006 and you find the perfect market for your work in the 2006 edition yet your mail bounces back to you. As time passes, I think less and less of Writers Market. Have you seen its Writers Digest magazine lately? Crammed with ads for PODs.
