The Covenant

If anyone wants to feel better about their writing, watch The Covenant. That thing is a piece of crap. The plot is so thin and predictable, and the dialogue is loaded with blatent exposition. While watching it, the wife kept telling me to stop with the writing lesson. It made me feel like a screenwriting GOD.

I would like to get other's thoughts on this movie...........

I don't want to diss the genre, but read the imdb 'logline'/summary:

Four young men who belong to a supernatural legacy are forced to battle a fifth power long thought to have died out. Another great force they must contend with is the jealousy and suspicion that threatens to tear them apart.

I just can't stand films like this unless a friend's written it and I don't know Renny Harlin.

This is a give it five miutes chance once it's on cable type of movie so I won't have feedback for a little while.

I am surprised that it made $23 million.

Which is almost precisely what it cost to make. They wouldn't have taken a bath, but no-one's come up begging for more
