Looking for an opinion

Some quick observations:
1. They talk about running films with budgets of up to $60 million dollars ... but can't afford anything beyond a free angelfire page.
2. The presentation of their webpage looks 100% unprofessional .. like something a primary school kid created.
3. According to the counter, in all of enternity, the webpage has only been viewed about 700 times.
4. A search of IMDB using the film titles that they have been involved with provides no hits.
5. It seems to be a grouping of a handful of people: Seanna O'Haran, Thomas Brannagh, Randi Cole, Ned Stuart & Laurie Matteson.
None of these names have significant IMDB entries.
6. "Matteson Casting" used to be run from the same address and phone number.
7. They also fund films by producing matching finds .. but only via "LPA Equity" .. a phrase that doesn't occur anywhere else on the entire internet, which makes me wonder what it actually is.

Agree with Mac. This is a disgrace.....
Will add one more note to Mac's response.
8. They have the nerve to put pictures of A-List talent on the synopsis of their films, in which they have no involvement with....
I'm thinking about calling them.....see whats going on...

Yeah, you want to go with developed companies. These people don't seem like they are on the up and up.
From my own experience, go with developed companies whether they are indies or the big leagues, don't go with people who haven't done anything unless you're working with a short in which there is no money anyway.

Thanks bran, Mac & Rose! I sent them an email, just wondering what it was they did. They sent me back an e-mail not so long ago. In the e-mail they blew their horn pretty loud, about how selective they are ect...ect. I went to their web site and found it just as you said. All a dog and pony show!
