My name is Kirstin McCormack.

I've been lurking and reading the boards for a while, so I thought it was probably time to register and take part myself.

2007 is the year in which I have decided to do things that are scary to me. As part of that, I've decided to finally send out some of my work in hopes of getting published rather than just dreaming about doing it "someday".

Glad to finally be a part of the community rather than someone lurking in the shadows.

Funny thing abuot doing the scary bits you're talking about is, once you do it, you'll find they're not scary.

Just don't put cheesy spray in your mouth and wash it down with Pepsi. That's a fear no one should confront.

Welcome to the boards, Kirstin. There aren't too many scary things here (Except the office party and....oh never mind.)

It's a fun place and submitting isn't as scary as you think. They can't take away your house, just turn you down. It's easier than asking out a date because it's not face to face :D SO jump on in and find yourself a prom date. (metaphorically speaking of course).
