Hello my fellows.... I would like to know the community's thoughts on parapsychological phenomena and the effects or existence of true magick in our modern world. I wonder about what our future progress might be, when we learn more about the potential we all have locked away within us. and here's a quick verse that came to me at some random moment:

Death is pregnant
Life is dying to be born
There is a warm, velvet mother
Of a sunny night
On a soft blanket
With comfortable wrinkles
And the tint is dusty gold
From the window that looks out
Upon what I cannot see
That warm aura
Knows contentment
The child always wonders

Hi, Akai --

Not sure where this one fits. I think, since you're asking a general question, and not necessarily for feedback on the poem, it does belong in the main forum.

I haven't thought much about parapsychology, and I'm not sure I know what magick is, in the context of your question; my image of magic is when the rabbit comes out of the hat.

I like the ideas and images in your poem; I think, as a whole work, it would bear some polishing. It reads, to me, a little like a list of ideas, rather than a single flowing work. I'd be interested to see another version, if you're inclined that way.
