Title Idea

My current WIP is going smoothly and well i've been toying around with a few title ideas... The story is set in my original home town and starts in 1978-- It's for the Harlequin Everlasting Love series...so... here are my ideas..

LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON, LOVESTRUCK, JENNY'S DIARY VOL. 1, A NEW BEGINNING..

Let me know what you think...if they totally suck, let me know that too

The first two seem okay, but not really high impact? The also seem to suggest different books--one languid and senasual and the other more sprakly and exciting

The 2nd and third seem a bit bland to me (IMHO)

What is the main theme of the book, and the setting (small town US, east west cntral or south?)

It's set in a small town--it starts out there in the south and will be a series. See the MC, Jenny is working at a movie theater in 1978--she meets a guy named David but isn't in love with him.... Basically it's her life which begins in 1978 and goes to present day. It's told in first person too.

So I could go with... LOVE IN A SMALL TOWN, MY DIARY, but i'll come up with something

Do you need Love in the title? Small Town Diary, Love Diary, Diary from a Small Town.

Ah, what do I know...I haven't read it. I just have fun making up titles.

Something I try to do is take the title from the text.

Well I don't need Love in the title... I do like Diary from a small town. Although this is one woman's journey through life so...

I guess it's back to square one.
