I have lurked here for the past two days and decided to finally sign up. I hang out at another writing forum, but they have been down for a few days. Everything happens for a reason though and thier inablility to stay up and running caused me to search for other forums. I am glad I found this one because it actually looks a lot better than that one.
Anyway.. a little about myself.
I wrote a LOT when I was in school (elementary through high). My eagerness to write died down a bit for a while. A few months ago I discovered NaNoWriMo and decided to give it a try. I only got a little over 20k in words, but feel that I won anyway. Nano forced me to write and it got me addicted again!
Since then I have been writing everyday! I have only submitted one story for publication, but I am working on numerous shorts and a novel, all of which I would like to publish.
I blog. But so does everyone else in the world. Check out the link in my sig if you want. It is not too impressive, I just write about myself and my writing. The latest post is a little out of character for me. It is about the Eagles, and even though I like sports, I don't follow them extremely close and rarely write about them in my blog.
I always have an opinion, but it is not a hard headed one. My opinions are like my stories, if they need revision than I polish it up a bit. I may say things that people don't like, and I may say things that really don't matter much, but every now and again I come up with a gem, so I hope to contribute something to this forum.
I am going to browse more of the posts later, and you will see me around here a lot (right after I go to the grocery store).
and oh yeah... if you like could you give me a reputation click. I want to be able to upload my own avatar as soon as possible
