The movie about Beatrix Potter is out in select theatres. Anyone on here near one of those theatres? I'm curious to see it because one, I love Beatrix and two, I love Renee Zellweger. Oh, and Ewan McGregor is nice to look at too.

I just saw a review for it and although it got two thumbs up they did say it was rather sappy. We'll see. Well, I hope I can see it.

Well, her life story is rather tragic in many ways. I'm sure I'll see it when it's released here. I loved her stories and my children love them too.

I saw it. It was sweet and warm and fuzzy and old fashioned. I find it light and cute and entertaining, but there's almost NO conflict -- everyone is so nice. Even the conflict with the parents, etc. are minor. And after the big "twist" the movie seems to just dwindle and there's almost no ending. To me, this is more a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. Not to say I didn't enjoy it -- but I kind of kept hoping for some twists and big climatic scene...
